Hong Kong trip (First day)

Written on 13/10/2012, posted on 14/10/2012 due to laziness..hahahaha :D

This few days always rain rain and rain
Yesterday I was planning to go for gym after my work in Pavilion
When I was preparing to go, the sky started to rain, HEAVILY
And I can’t make it because I parked my car beside Times Square
So I keep waiting while doing nothing inside Pavilion
And finally, rains stops, at 6.00pm!!!
Ok, that’s fine
I started my journey to Midvalley where my gym is located and who knows traffic is jam like nobody business until I can cook maggi mee with eggs and sausages
Then I give up and go back home, normally it takes me around 20 minutes to reach home provided with a smooth traffic, but yesterday it takes me around 2 hours to reach home!!!

This morning rain again, HEAVILY
It’s a good time to sleep longer since I got no class today
While I'm cuddling with my bolster and blanket #foreveralone
Some feelings come to me and reminds me about Hong Kong
A place I went 1 month and 13 days ago
I looked back at the pictures I took there
And I MISS AND LOVE HONG KONG SO MUCHIEEEEE :(
I like this place since I was a little boy, though now I still a little boy
But I have to admit that HK is not an ideal place for long stay unless you’re super rich until you can arrange your money round and round the earth
I like the living environment over there where everything is so packed
You can find whatever you want in front, behind or beside you
And of course, I like the night life over there :)
The main thing is about the special feeling that Hong Kong gave me
I don’t know what special feeling, don’t ask me
It’s just a special feeling lorh…
I’m not going to say why I suddenly go to Hong Kong because it might takes me 3 days 3 nights to finish the story
What I can say is, I’m going there alone
Yea meh? Alone meh?
Yes, alone. I’m not like you, typical Asian that must have a companion in order to go to a new place :)
Your parents give you go alone meh? Somemore so far
Yes, they do because they do believe in my ability to survive alone. My mum some more gives me money to make my passport and fetch me until I reach departing gate in the airport

Day one (31/8/2012-Malaysia’s Merdeka day)
Wake up very very early to pack my luggage because I’m too lazy to pack them the day before
My plane going to depart at 1.30pm, so I have to reach airport around 11.30am
After done with my luggage and decorating myself
My parents and I went for breakfast, then only go airport
Papa Oon says; “All Malaysian is celebrating the country’s independent day and you’re going out and visit other country, later when you’re back to Malaysia, the custom don’t let you in.”
I’m a proud Malaysian :)))))
When I reach the airport, I thought I have to wait for a long time because I’m 2 hours earlier
But ok ok lorh, after settle all those procedures and reach my departing gate, I waited for around 20 minutes I guess
Ok larh, this is my first international trip. I know I very ulu.

Aerotrain to departing terminal

KLIA airport, I'm very narcissist

My plane, Cathay Pacific :)

Boarding into the plane, I told you I'm very narcissist, I take pictures of myself everywhere :P

My airplane meal, not bad lorh

Almost reach, so exciteddddd :P

I arrived at Hong Kong’s airport around 5.45pm
And I found that HK do have a bigger airport compared to Malaysia
After done with everything, I’m finally out from custom around 6.40pm
The next thing is, I’m gonna find the Airport Express to go to Hong Kong island
Before that, I bought a phone number which cost me HKD288 (around RM113), WTF!!!
But that one includes 7 days internet access and don’t know how many credit inside it, I forgot dy
After count here and there, ok ok lorh…
If I didn’t get a phone number here and my mum can’t contact me, she probably will think that I kena kidnapped by random strangers and kill me and sell my organ to Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar.
And I didn’t bring my laptop, so I need to access to internet via phone, so that I’m not that boring
I got no choice!!!
Do you know that there’s a thing called wifi and it’s free?
Yes, I do. You go ask your grandfather installs wifi all over HK larh…

Reach liao larh :)))

I feel so weird that this is the first time when I see the signboard around me without Malay words..LOL

Wohoooo :)

My HK number, I still keep the sim card, tell and call me whenever you want! :)

From the airport, I took train to Hong Kong station and change to Central station to Causeway Bay station, my hotel is located there
And what makes me so surprise it their Central station is big like OMG
Normally it takes around 15 minutes inside the station to get to the next platform
But I took more time because I lost!!! Hahahahahaha
Peoples in HK are too rush, or a more rude one, they’re like rushing to go and die..haha
They walk like nobody business, even they knocked you, they won’t give a fuck to you
Now I finally know why media says that HK peoples are under depression

Inside the Airport Express

Taken at Hong Kong Station *dreams come true* :)

After I reached Causeway Bay station, I still have to walk around 5 minutes to get out from the station which is quite troublesome and so far every train station that I went, it’s still the same situation
For this one I didn’t get lost, it’s just a straight underground tunnel..LOL :D
Once I stepped out, I saw lots and lots of tall buildings and signboard with lights here and there
Just like what I see in HK drama
I have to search for my hotel first because I can’t carry my stuff and walked around otherwise they will think that I’m from Mainland China that just reached for jobs and homeless and discriminate me
With the help of my HTC baby and my intelligent brain and the help of certain peoples, finally I found my hotel which is located at Percival Street

I have to walk underground tunnel like this each time I take train, want fat also difficult but I still fat, I don't know why

I love this kind of night city where lights shining here and there

My hotel :)

When I get into my room, I found that I can’t open my luggage because the ciplak lock that I use was cracked inside
Maybe because the airport staff simply throw my luggage here and there but its ok, it’s not a good lock anyway
As I said earlier, I didn’t pack my luggage earlier and do it last minutes
And I can’t find a lock, so I just simply took a small ciplak lock which seems like brought from Kedai 2 Ringgit
Then die liao lorh, can’t open my luggage means I got no clothes to change
So I have to take my luggage and find a locksmith
This one makes me a little bit angry
I get into a shop and this 2 old lady looking at me
I know at that time they surely think that; “Oh, tourist. Can chop him liao”
I said: “Can you please cut off this lock for me, I can’t open it. Just cut it.”
First lady: *Looking at me from my head to toe and back to head* “Alright but we will charge you for that” p/s: The way she talks is just like I got no money to pay her and her face expression is very irritating.
Me: “Ok, how much is that?”
Old lady: “HKD 30 larhhhh”
Me: “Ok larhhhh” *Scolding inside heart; ask you take a big scissors and cut one lock very hard meh? HKD30 wor. Money face level HK people (x100000)*

After done with all those shits, it’s my time for walk walk and eat eat and drink drink and see see
The first thing that I go for is definitely the hawker foods
If you never eat hawker foods means you never been to HK
Too bad I didn’t take pictures of the foods because there’s lots of peoples there and I scare the boss will scold me..LOL :D
Next, I went to Pizza Hut for my main meal
And I found that they offer a better (x100000) foods compared to Malaysia’s outlet
Lots of choices until I don’t know which to choose and they’re not stingy about the ingredients
Then I just walk walk around the area see peoples and let peoples see
At that moment when I see my surrounding, I keep asking myself, am I dreaming?
I still can’t believe that I’m actually in HK, everything happened too fast
I didn’t plan this trip 3 months or half year earlier
It just takes me a few days of thinking before I departed into the airplane

My first dinner in HK's Pizza Hut and their food is much more better than Malaysia

Before going back to hotel, I went to 7-11 to buy something that you won’t want to know
And their 7-11 is just like a supermarket
What ghost also got, some more many choices available
I admit I got a little bit surprise that they sell wine
Haiya, I know I very kampung very ulu larh
Malaysia’s 7-11 no sell wine marh :P
After that I’m back to the hotel
And what I did next I don’t think you will want to know :P
Ok, done with my first day in HK.
Buh bye and good night and good luck :)

The view from my hotel, Victoria Harbour :)))))

To be continued…
